Museum of Modern Art

While the new building is being constructed, the Museum of Modern Art, the brightest and the most dynamic modern-art institution in the city, is currently housed at Pańska Street in close proximity to the Palace of Culture and Science. In the spring of 2017, the museum opened its new exhibition space – the Museum on the Vistula – in addition to the Museum’s headquarters located at 3 Pańska Street. The Museum on the Vistula is located at Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie 22, next to the Copernicus Science Centre and the University of Warsaw Library, in a pavilion designed by Austrian architect Adolf Krischanitz.
