Warsaw Explorers’ Club
A few words about the idea:
„Warsaw Explorers’ Club” is Warsaw Tourism Organization’s latest project, intended to encourage locals and visitors to discover Warsaw by visiting its museums and cultural institutions.
It’s key feature is a booklet with the museums’ descriptions, designed for collecting stamps from the visited institutions.
The booklet contains information and interesting facts about cultural institutions taking part in the project, which are just a prevue of what can be discovered during a visit. Terms and conditions of the campaign can be found on www.odkrywajwarszawe.pl/Klub-Odkrywcow-Warszawy. The booklet can be purchased at Maria Skłodowska‑Curie Museum, Museum of Dollhouses, Games and Toys, Norblin Factory Museum, Museum of Polish Vodka (only for adults!), in the store in the Palace of Culture and Science and in Warsaw Tourism Organization’s office at Podwale 13. The cost is 15 PLN.
Apart from collecting the stamps participants can also win many attractive prizes such as dinner and overnight stay in a historical Warsaw hotel, a package of vouchers to the capital’s key tourist attractions, a personalized tour of the city or sets of promotional gadgets.
Anyone can become Warsaw’s Explorer. We invite school children and youths, seniors, persons with disabilities, couples, singles – everyone and anyone who is willing to discover Warsaw!
Warsaw is a city definitely worth visiting and exploring. It’s a destination for foreign and domestic tourists, but the locals also profit greatly from its leisure offerings.
It is an ever-changing city with unique atmosphere, revealing its new faces to the visitors almost by the day. We can boast a grand, historical and at the same time modern metropolis, with numerous attractions, activities and infrastructure making it attractive to locals and visitors alike.
Warsaw’s history is a history of our country, where key events took place, shaping the Polish state, its image and progress for years to come. Poland’s capital is a welcoming, approachable city – worth visiting not only to discover its highlights, but to feel right at home. Warsaw Explorers’ Club will reveal the most precious artefacts of Warsaw’s cultural heritage – rich collections of the capital’s museums but also the temporary exhibitions, which showcase the spirit of the city and its significance on international cultural scene.
