Step back in time and see how Warsaw looked in the past!

Step back in time with “History Horizon” – a modern, 3D virtual trip across the ages, only available at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. Discover how Warsaw looked in XI, XIV, and XVI centuries, and experience the devastation in 1944 after the Warsaw Uprising. Special stands equipped with the latest HTC VIVE virtual reality technology devices allow full use of the extraordinary potential of this application, created especially for guests of the Palace. Scientists, engineers and historians have combined to make sure “History Horizon” is not only excellent entertainment (visiting historical worlds and play 360° mini-games using virtual controllers that convert into various objects), but also a reliable, interesting and memorable history lesson. “History Horizon” stands are open in the Palace daily from 9:00 to 20:00, and on Fridays and Saturdays until 23.30. The stands are in the Palace on the 2nd floor in front of the souvenir shop and ticket office, and in the Gothic Room on the 30th floor.
