Warsaw Rising Museum 

Dedicated to the heroic act of Varsovians and the events in the final days of World War II, the Warsaw Rising Museum immerses visitors in history. It helps them understand the character of the city, and see that, despite its terrible fate, Warsaw has transformed in a modern and dynamic metropolis. Discover interactive displays, photographs, film archives and personal accounts of those who survived. If you find yourself in Warsaw on 1 August at 5 pm, you will witness the whole city stopping for one minute to commemorate the heroes that fought for freedom in 1944 (see the video below).
