Old Town and Museum of Warsaw

The Warsaw Old Town was 90% destroyed during World War II. After the post-war reconstruction it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as “outstanding example of a near- total reconstruction of a span of history covering the 13th to the 20th century”. It is here where the Warsaw Mermaid statue – the official symbol of the city – is located. It is also here where the Museum of Warsaw is established. While discovering the picturesque streets of the Old Town, drop in to the Museum of Pharmacy and explore its impressive collection.
